Welcome to the Voices In History Wiki!

Voices In History (VIH) is an intensive professional development program that will focus on improving student achievement in ELA by integrating technology into the Social Studies curriculum. VIH serves the goals of the Enhancing Education Through Technology theme. "Technology Infusion into Instruction through Professional Development," by empowering educators to engage students in interdisciplinary projects that develop writing, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. The VIH program aims to train teachers to use technology as both an instructional tool for the Social Studies curriculum and as a way to reinforce fundamental ELA skills.

The ultimate goal of the VIH Program is to improve academic performance in ELA by enhancing teachers' abilities to effectively infuse technology into their Social Studies instruction. All projects created by participants in the Voices In History program will be uploaded and housed on this wiki. This will allow participants to freely share their original work with their colleagues.

To upload your project, click on your District in the menu to the left, click on your school and then click on your name and complete the table on your page. Attach your project in the File Upload cell in the table.
